This cute little sailor girl is from my newKraftin Kimmie stamp set called Ahoy Sailor. I coloured little sailor girl with Copic markers and then fussy cut her ou a nod popped her up with foam dots on to a circle and scalloped circle cut from spell binders. I've then used layers of paper that came with a card making magazine and yellow card stock. This is all on a red base card. I stamped the sentiment You're My Best Mate and punched it out. I die cut an anchor from silver Miri card and tied some red and white bakers twine on to it. I added a couple of gems to the sentiment. I can see looking back through this blog that I am slowly improving with my colouring using copics.

Warm wishes

I thought I'd have a go at the Fun In The Sun Challenge and the June Linky Party, over at Some Odd Girl. I've used Thank you Mae in this card and coloured her with bright colours using Copic markers. I've fussy cut her out and popped her up with foam dots to give her some dimension. I've used a basic grey chipboard surfboard, and layered Mae and the surfboard onto a Kaiser journal card. I've stamped the sentiment warm wishes and embossed it in orange. The base card is orange with a sandy coloured paper matt.

Thanks Big Time

I was honoured to be a guest over at the High Hopes Challenge site, the criteria was to use at least 2 patterned papers and a high hopes stamp. I chose to use the Little Missy stamp she is so sweet.
She is mostly coloured in Copic markers however her dress has been paper pierced with patterned paper. I've fussy cut her out and popped her up with foam dots. She has been placed on a sweet paper I had in my stash and then put on another piece of patterned paper. All this is on a lime green base card. I've used some pink seam binding ribbon, some glitter on the flowers and a thank you sentiment to finish off.

Hi Hippo

High Hopes have a challenge called 'In the Air' this week and I couldn't resist making a card for this theme. I've used High Hooes Juliettes Leap of Faith stamp and coloured her with Copic markers and fussy cut her out so I could pop her up with some double sided foam tape. My background paper is from the Here and Now collection by Studio Calico. I've used a sizzix die to make the cityscape and put everything on a dark blue base card. I found some glittery lettering to spell ou hi. I'll be sending this card to one of my pen pals :)

Birthday Girl

Here's a Birthday card that I made with my new set of Kraftin Kimmie stamps, I've used one of the cute images from the Birthday Lulu set. I've started with a purple (my favourite colour) case card, and then added green polka dot paper from Kaiser. I've added a panel of birthday present paper that I've had for ages matted onto pink card. I've then used a purple matt for my birthday Lulu image which I've coloured with Copic markers. I coloured the cupcake twice so I could pop it up for dimension. I've added some doodling and gems to finish it off.
